Tooth Sensitivity

Tooth sensitivity can stem from different causes. It is not uncommon to have sensitivity from receding gums which expose the root of the tooth. This can lead to avoiding certain foods and drinks or inability to brush and clean the teeth properly. This type of sensitivity can often be treated by placing a special sealer or a filling on the affected root surface. The material is invisible or tooth colored and will be matched to the neighboring teeth for an esthetically pleasing result.
